About Us

The North American Council of Eastern Nigeria Adventists (NACENA) is duly incorporated and registered as a 501 (c) 3 private not-for-profit organization established in April 2001 it is not an official agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA), its governance is adapted from that of the church. 

NACENA’s business is conducted through the National Executive Committee, local chapters’ officers, regional area coordinators, ad-hoc committees that oversee the affairs in the major population (members across the United States and Canada), and annual conventions. All services for NACENA are non-remunerative.

Mission:  The North American Council of Eastern Nigeria Adventists (NACENA) is an organization of Seventh-day Adventists (SDAs) of Eastern Nigeria origin in North America established to ensure the survival and growth of the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference in spreading the everlasting gospel to all its constituent areas. Members engage in programs that support evangelism and improvements in the health and welfare of God’s people.

  Goals:

  • Promote unity and cooperation among SDAs of Eastern origin in North America
  • Provide immediate and long-term support financially, morally and spiritually for the success of Eastern Nigeria Union Conference and its related fields
  • Foster the rich Adventist (SDA) heritage of the people of Eastern Nigeria among its members, especially their offspring.

 NACENA is poised to be a progressive voice within the Seventh-day community to promote growth and support for our Union Mission in North America and Eastern Nigeria. Membership includes both individuals and organizations in every state and province in North America.
